Open source IT solution provider Adfinis strengthens its leadership team with the appointment of Felix Kronlage-Dammers as Country Manager of Adfinis GmbH.
BERN, SWITZERLAND – Effective 10 August 2026, Adfinis has appointed Felix Kronlage-Dammers as Country Manager of Adfinis GmbH – a key step in the company’s evolution towards a unified global group structure under its “One Adfinis” vision. In his new role, Felix will lead the strategic direction, team development, and operational growth for Adfinis in Germany. The appointment follows a change in the management of Adfinis GmbH, with Ralf Scharly and Sascha Zimmer no longer serving in their operational roles.

The new leadership structure reinforces Adfinis's commitment to scalable, future-proof operations across the entire Adfinis Group. Bringing over two decades of executive and technical leadership in open source infrastructure and cloud technologies, Felix is ideally equipped to steer Adfinis GmbH through its next growth phase. Having co-founded and managed bytemine GmbH, served as Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer (COO) at gridscale, and led key industry initiatives – such as the Forum Sovereign Cloud Stack (SCS) Standards and serving on the Open Source Business Alliance (OSBA) Board – Felix’s experience combines technical engineering expertise, business strategy, and strong connections within the open source ecosystem. His long-standing commitment to open standards and vendor independence aligns perfectly with Adfinis’s mission to deliver robust and reliable open source solutions.
