SUSE and Exoscale Deliver Sovereign Cloud Offering in Europe

LUXEMBOURG and LAUSANNE, October 14, 2025 - SUSEⓇ, a global leader in enterprise open source solutions, and Exoscale , a leading sovereign cloud provider in Europe, announce today a strategic partnership, offering businesses a powerful solution to ensure their data remains within Europe, under European jurisdiction. The partnership brings SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES), a leading enterprise-grade Linux distribution, to Exoscale's secure and compliant European cloud platform.

SLES is now available as an official VM (Virtual Machine) template on Exoscale, empowering organizations to rapidly deploy, scale, and manage secure Linux environments. Developed in close partnership with SUSE and Adfinis, these templates deliver seamless integration with the Exoscale cloud ecosystem, for effortless provisioning, automated contextualization, and out-of-the-box access to the latest SLES packages and security updates – without the need to manage repositories or subscriptions. Both Exoscale and SUSE are supporters of the EuroStack initiative, and have a strong commitment to sovereign digital infrastructure.
