OSBA Connect 2026

This year marks a special milestone: 15 years of OSBA. For a decade and a half, Germany’s largest association of open source companies and users has been championing openness, collaboration, and technological independence as the foundation of modern digitalization.

The day combines the annual general meeting, keynotes, and a panel discussion. Speakers include Frederike Kaltheuner (AI Now Institute) on digital sovereignty and open source in the age of AI, Dr. Markus Reichel (Member of the German Bundestag) on championing open source in parliament, and Dirk Meyer-Claassen (Berlin Senate Chancellery) on putting Berlin’s open source strategy into practice. The evening closes with a festive anniversary celebration and get-together.
